I've worked as a Bookkeeper, Office Manager, Property Manager, Operations Manager, and Tax Preparation Professional for multiple private sector companies including contractors, attorneys, restaurants, a commerical real estate firm, wine broker, private investors, and now in the business office at Carmel Unified School District:

Bio
Originally from Canada, my family immigrated to the U.S. in the early 90's. I grew up in
Southern California and moved to Northern California 12 years ago. My husband
and I and our 5 kids (ages 17, 14, 13, 11, and 8) now live in Monterey. When my
kids were younger I worked from home as an Office Manager for a wine distributor
which kept me doing something professionally and engaged outside of caring for
my family. I went back to work full-time at Carmel Unified when my youngest
entered preschool. Never having worked for a school district before I learned
a ton taking on purchasing, then as the Admin Assistant to our CBO, and now as
the District Accountant.
I am focusing now on finishing my MBA and continuing to develop my leadership
skills, with goals to keep learning and move into a management position in the future at
Carmel Unified.
