I am Luqman Abdur-Rahman, a transformative leader from Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to revolutionizing K-12 education for nearly two decades. My journey began in mechanical engineering, but I soon discovered my true calling in education. Since then, I have been committed to empowering underserved communities and creating meaningful change in the lives of students and educators.

I earned my degrees from Morehouse College and Georgia Tech before pursuing an educational leadership degree from Columbia University. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse educational settings, from urban public schools to innovative charter schools and partner institutions. I have served as a math and science educator, a middle school principal, and an advocate for improving educational outcomes. My passion lies in fostering inclusive learning environments that support both students and educators.

My approach to education goes beyond traditional teaching methods. I believe in restorative and trauma-informed practices that create supportive spaces for learning and growth. With expertise in academic strategy, assessment, and school culture, I have collaborated with districts, nonprofits, and educational organizations to drive meaningful change.
