Under the direct supervision of the Superintendent, responsible for all business/administrative operations and programs including budgeting/accounting, labor negotiations, purchasing/warehousing, food services and legislative services that provide services for approximately 46,000 students and 5,000 employees. Total 2018/19 budget for all funds is approximately $540 million. Assistant Superintendent CBO, January 2013 – August 2018. Kings Canyon Joint Unified School District (KCUSD). Under the direct supervision of the Superintendent, responsible for all business/administrative operations and programs including budgeting/accounting/payroll, risk management, facilities, bonds, labor negotiations, maintenance/operations, purchasing /warehousing, food services, technology, transportation and legislative services that provide services for approximately 10,000 students and 1,500 employees. Total 2017/18 budget for all funds is approximately $120 million, which includes the selling, programming, and completion of $40 million dollars of bond projects. Fresno Unified School District is the fourth largest school district in California supporting over 72,000 students, 10,000 employees, 108 sites with over 8,000,000 square feet of enclosed building space, and over 1,200 acres. Responsible for all Operations Departments; Custodial, Energy Management, Environmental Services, Gardening, and Security, $53.5 million budget and over 500 employees. | Bio | Dr. John Quinto has a Doctorate in Education and Masters in Public Administration. Dr. Quinto has had the honor and privilege of speaking in the Senate and also gave a briefing to the California State Governor on the results of his dissertation and has two publications; emphasis being Higher Education as a Right or Privilege. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Fresno State, where he teaches State and Local Government in the MPA program. He also has mentored colleagues through the FCMAT/USC CBO programs and continues to support and mentor aspiring leaders. Dr. Quinto has spent the last 18 years proudly serving the public student education needs in various roles; Chief Business Official, Assistant Superintendent, Operations Business Manager, and Maintenance Manager. Dr. Quinto also has 17 years in the private sector working for the largest independent dairy as well as the largest winery in California . He also enjoyed coaching for over 20 years; baseball, soccer, and track. |
